PPA, the new market leader for triple threat training in all aspects of the performing arts is pleased to announce the 2012 Musical Theatre Summer School which will take place at Regent House, the new PPA centre of excellence in the heart of Guildford.

The course is aimed at those wishing to improve their skills in acting, singing and dance and for those who want to access full time theatre training and for those who want to use it as a refresher or top up course.

The Summer School is suitable for anyone with a passion for performing who wants to experience what full time theatre training has to offer. The Summer School will encourage students to work hard and advice and feedback will constantly be given to students in order that they can realize their aims.

The Course Leader is Gerry Tebbutt (Head of the PPA Musical Theatre Diploma Course) and students will have the opportunity to work with other members of the PPA faculty, guest tutors and experience a Masterclass with a luminary from London’s West End.

The course will explore the commitment and focus needed at a professional level and will develop potential and instinct which will lead to a greater understanding of the art of performance. The Summer School will focus on technique classes, the rehearsal process and will culminate with a showing of the work experienced to which family and friends may be invited.

During the Summer School there will be an accompanied theatre trip to the West End to see one of the blockbuster musicals.

All students attending the Summer School will receive a PPA Diploma at the end of the course.
