What to Expect

HOURS

The college day starts at 8.45am and finishes at 4pm (students on teaching courses finish at 6.30)
One Year Intensive Acting Course runs from 9.00pm to 4.00pm

UNIFORM

Students at PPA wear uniform for all of their classes. The uniform is available from the collegeupon acceptance of a place onto one of the courses.

MONITORING STUDENTS PROGRESS

Students have an allocated tutor throughout their training at PPA: this tutor is their first point of contact for advice, and for any concerns. Each student receives reports and assessments at the end of each term to document targets achieved and examination results.

PERSONAL HEALTH

A typical day at PPA involves several dance classes and workshops, so body maintenance is a must. We recommend that students have healthcare for the duration of their training. PPA actively promotes a healthy attitude to body and mind, with an aim to create performers that are confident within their talent and do need feel that they need to conform to industry stereotypes.

FACULTY

Over the years,we have collected an impressive faculty, which we now have on board at PPA: so as well as the excellent qualifications, students are trained by some of the best dance, drama and singing coaches in the business today. Students are tutored daily in ISTD Ballet. ISTD Modern, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Tap, Drama, Singing (tutorial and rep), Body Conditioning, Contemporary, Classical Singing and Audition technique.
